I’m Jay, a media nerd that’s spent WAY too much time reading up on the entertainment landscape of yesteryear. This website is a product of that, specifically focusing on children’s media and animation.

Some of you might remember this website as an extension of the Jay’s Corner Twitter account I used to run. While I’m grateful to have found an audience that shared my passion for media history, personal and professional issues slowly turned Jay’s Corner into an obligation rather than a fun pastime.

So, here we are with Jay the Telephile. Every once in a blue moon, I’ll come on here and talk about what’s captured my interest lately, be it opinion pieces on the latest cartoon news or history-based essays and editorials.
